गोण्डा। मस्तिष्क ज्वर जैसी जानलेवा बीमारी की रोकथाम के लिए दो अप्रैल से से 16 अप्रैल तक चलने वाले विशेष संचारी रोग पखवाड़े का शुभारम्भ किया गया। जिलाधिकारी जेबी सिंह ने सेमरादम्मन प्राथमिक विद्यालय में पहुंचकर अभियान का शुभारम्भ किया।
जिलाधिकारी जेबी सिंह ने अभियान से जुड़े सभी विभागों जैसे कार्यक्रम विभाग, बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग के अधिकारियों को स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए है कि वे सब पूरे मनोयोग से अभियान में लगकर अभियान को सफल बनावें क्योकि जेई एई जैसी खतरनाक बीमारी से नौनिहाल असमय मौत के मुंह में समां जाते है जिसके पीछे कहीें न कहीं जागरूकता की कमी व समय से बचाव एवं उपचार न मिल पाने के कारण होता है। इसलिए इस अभियान को प्रभावित गांवों सहित जिले के हर गांव व घर तक पहुंचाया जाय तथा यह पूरा प्रयास किया जाय कि कोई बच्चा टीकाकरण से वंचित न रहने पावे। मुख्य चिकित्साधिकारी डा0 संतोष कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि इस बीमारी से बड़ी संख्या में बच्चे गंभीर रूप से बीमार या दिव्यांग हो जाते हैं। कई बार सभी प्रयासों के बावजूद बच्चों की असमय मृत्यु हो जाती है। बीमारी का प्रकोप जुलाई से अक्टूबर माह के बीच सर्वाधिक होता है। जागरूकता के अभाव में इसकी भयावहता और बढ़ जाती है। सीएमओ डा0 श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि इस पखवाड़े के दौरान निर्धारित सरकारी विभाग संचारी रोगों की रोकथाम के लिए अपने-अपने निर्धारित कार्यक्रेमों को पूरा करेंगे। स्वास्थ्य विभाग जापानी इन्सेफ्लाइटिस से बचाव हेतु टीकाकरण व जन जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए अभियान संचालित करेगा। उन्होेंने बताया कि माइक्रोप्लान में निर्धारित स्थलों पर टीमों द्वारा टीकाकरण किया जायेगा। इस अभियान में 01 से 15 वर्ष के कुल 105210 वंचित बच्चों को टीकाकरण से आच्छादित किया जायेगा। सीएमओ ने यह भी बताया कि जिले के मनकापुर, मसकनवा, बभनजोत, मुजेहना तथा कटरा बाजार विकास खण्ड इस बीमारी से अत्यधिक प्रभावित हैं। बताया कि बस्ती जनपद की सीमा से उक्त बीमारी का संचरण इन ब्लाकों में हुआ है। अभियान का शुभारम्भ करने के उपरान्त जिलाधिकारी श्री सिंह अचानक प्राथमिक में बच्चों की कक्षा में पहंच गए। वहां पहुंचकर उन्होने बच्चों से जानकारी ली। वहीं पर उपस्थित अध्यापक द्वारा की कई गईं गलतियां जिलाधिकारी की पकड़ में आईं। जिलाधिकारी ने अध्यापक को मन लगाकर पढ़ाने की नसीहत दी।
अभियान के शुभारम्भ के अवसर पर अपर मुख्य चिकित्साधिकारी, प्रभारी डीपीओ दिलीप पाण्डेय, डा0 मलिक आलमगीर, डा0 गयायसुल हसन, डा0 मलिक, स्वास्थ्य सूचनाधिकारी डा0 देवेन्द्र श्रीवास्तव, डा0 आरपी0 सिंह, ज्ञानचन्द, राजन, आशीष श्रीवास्तव, समेत अन्य चिकित्सक व अधिकारीगण मौजूद रहे।

Therefore, this campaign should be carried out to every village and house of the district including the affected villages and it should be done to ensure that no child is deprived of vaccination. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santosh Kumar Shrivastav said that a large number of children from this disease become seriously ill or ill. Many times, despite all the efforts, children have untimely death. The outbreak of the disease is highest among the months of July to October. In the absence of awareness, its magnitude increases. CMO Dr. Srivastava informed that during the fortnight, the prescribed government departments will complete their respective work programs for the prevention of communicable diseases. The Health Department will run the campaign to increase vaccination and public awareness to protect against Japanese encephalitis. They told that vaccination would be done by teams at the scheduled sites in Microflan. In this campaign 105210 children of 01 to 15 years of deprived children will be covered with vaccination. CMO also informed that the Mankapur, Maskanva, Babhanjot, Muehehana and Katra Bazar development blocks of the district are highly influenced by this disease. It is said that the transmission of the disease from the basti janapadra has occurred in these blocks. After launching the campaign, the District Collector Mr. Singh suddenly came to the orphanage in primary school. They got information from the children there. At the same time, many of the mistakes made by the teacher present came in the hold of the District Magistrate. The District Magistrate has instructed the teacher to be mindful.
On the occasion of the launch of the campaign, Additional Chief Medical Officer, in-charge DPO Dilip Pandey, Dr. Malik Alamgir, Dr. Gayasul Hassan, Dr. Malik, Health Officer Dr. Deendendra Shrivastav, Dr. RP Singh, Gyan Chand, Rajan, Ashish Shrivastav and other doctors and officials were present on the occasion. .
